That was it...the shortest vacation in the world:-)
Just joking...there are, I suppose, some slaves left who get it shorter..
We got a very nice 2 weeks stop in Crete in Rethymnon. We didn't do so much, that's the point(!) for this vacation, just relaxed on the beach half a days, ate good Crete specialities ( 'Vautsi' for their sallads), read books which I only do when I'm relaxing and, of course, there was some running too.
In the middle of our staying we visited Samaria Gorge National Park, the longest gorge in Europe! It has become one of the" musts" if you go to Crete .That was something as you can see on some of the pics I've put down here. I recommend it strongly:-)
Special thanks to the whole crew at the Liberty hotel, you were so kind and gave us the service expected, wonderful. If you read this, then give my special 'kalimèra'-'ti kànete' to the breakfast-team, they helpt me to get started with some new Greek-words every morning. Could the day start better? I hope we'll see you again and have a really wonderful summer now with all these hmmm...:-)...tourists;-)
